I’m interested in having a regular Coding Dojo that I attend, and I think setting up a community ed “class” would be a great way to organize it.
The most important thing for a Dojo is to meet regularly. Other than that you just need a room, a computer hooked to a projector, and a group of developers interested in deliberate practice.
This is very similar to what you get from a community education class. So can we use that as a forum for our Dojo?
What I envision is an ACC continuing education class that would meet once a week in North Austin. It would officially be a “class” listed in the catalog, but it would be a group of peers, rather than teacher / students.
If there’s interest in this, I can set up the class.
